IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THIS WEEK
MIDTERM REPORTS – Mid-term reports are due
Monday, September 9, on the server. Please inform your Area Administrator as
you were instructed in the Area Meetings last Thursday if you will be calling
parents in for a conference for your students. Midterm Reports will be sent home
on Thursday, September 12.
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION – The school will celebrate the Honduran Independence Day on
Thursday, September 12. Homeroom Teachers were asked to contact their room
parents and organize a typical Honduran snack/breakfast with their classrooms
with contributions from their students. For a specific breakdown of this day,
please find the schedule of activities at the end of this Monday Memo (after
the two week calendar). Please make sure you read this information carefully, and
follow the schedule so that we have an organized, fun celebration. This is an
11:45 a.m. dismissal day for our students (PM Schedule) and teachers can leave
for their (much awaited and deserved) 4-day weekend at 12:30 once all their
students have been dismissed.
MAP FALL TESTING SESSION – Our first MAP testing session for
this school year will begin on Monday, September 23. A schedule of the times and days for
your grades was distributed at your Area Meeting last Thursday. Teachers are
required to monitor the tests of their students during their class periods. If
you have any questions, please ask your Area Administrator.
FIRE DRILL – We will have our first
fire drill on Tuesday,
September 10, at 9:00 a.m. Please
make sure that you have reviewed with your students the correct procedure to
follow during a fire drill.
